The ICM-42688-P is a high-performance, low-power 6-axis MEMS motion tracking IC from TDK InvenSense, integrating a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer in a compact 2.5mm x 3mm LGA-14 package. Its gyroscope offers industry-leading 2.6 mdps/√Hz noise density with programmable measurement ranges up to ±2000 dps , while the accelerometer features noise density as low as 70 µg/√Hz . The device supports both I²C and SPI digital interfaces , includes a 2KB FIFO buffer , and integrates an APEX motion processor to offload motion computation from the host processor.
