The ADM2483BRWZ-REEL is an integrated, galvanically isolated half-duplex RS-485 transceiver from Analog Devices (ADI). Using iCoupler® technology, it combines a 3-channel isolator, a three-state differential line driver, and a differential input receiver in a single package . The device complies with ANSI EIA/TIA-485-A and ISO 8482:1987(E) standards, supports data rates up to 500kbps, and offers common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 25kV/µs . The logic side operates from a 3V or 5V supply, while the bus side requires a 5V supply only, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C . The device supports up to 256 nodes on the bus and features slew-rate-limited driver outputs and true fail-safe receiver inputs .
